Bolt holes filled with black epoxy.
Finish
Multi coat conversion varnish all sides. Meets ANSI/KCMA A161.1 standards for bleach water, wine, citrus, and abrasion resistance.
Character
Varies by lot, call for details. Depending on availability they may include mixed or vertical grain; joined or solid widths; with or without seat numbers. Original bleacher face may contain (filled) bolt holes, potential graffiti, non-structural checks and other wear patterns from prior use in a gymnasium.
Species
Pseudotsuga menziesii (Douglas Fir). Option for Southern Yellow Pine also available.
Hardness
660-710 using Janka Ball test (ASTM D1037-96A). Natural wood products have no minimum hardness specifications since individual plank values vary depending on cell structure and wood grain.
