Description
Tables and counters crafted from fir that is loaded with nail holes and character, and then finished with a pop of color in the rustic nooks and crannies.

Thickness 1-5/8” with 2” metal edge band Available in common restaurant and desk sizes up to 48″ wide and 96″ long. Note: Up to 1/4″ variation allowed for reclaimed material optimization.
Edge Detail
1/8″ x 2” steel flat bar.
Fill
Most checks/knots >1/8″ filled with black epoxy.
Finish
Epoxy flood coat and multi coat conversion varnish all sides. Meets ANSI/KCMA A161.1 standards for bleach water, wine, citrus, and abrasion resistance.
Stability
5/8” planks on 1” plywood with 2” metal edge flat bar edge banding to keep table flat.
Character
Original board faces contain slightly uneven surfaces (over/under wood), saw marks, fastener marks, indentations, oxide staining and discoloration from prior use; unlimited grain combinations; heartwood and sapwood; nail holes, pinholes, knots and non-structural checks and cracks (filled with black epoxy over 1/8″).

Hardness
450-710 using Janka Ball test (ASTM D1037-96A). Natural wood products have no minimum hardness specifications since individual plank values vary depending on cell structure and wood grain.
